Help line Volunteer Mr. Gaurav Pandey called back to Mr.Vikas and queried about the exact
location where the old lady sits and also informed him that he will be visiting that place for
verification.
Second follow-up
Helpline Sr. Executive Ms. Geetika sent Helpline Volunteer Mr. Gaurav Pandey to the place in
Noida where abandoned lady sits. Helpline Volunteer found details about her and he found that the
abandoned senior citizen is deaf. She survived on begging. It was also found that she had a family
who are staying near her begging area. Every morning her family members leave her on the spot
where she begs till evening and after that take her back to the home. Her other family members i.e.
daughter-in-law and her children also beg in the same area. The Volunteer Delhi Helpline talked to
her daughter-in-law and told her that we want to shift her mother-in-law Sukhraji Devi to old age
home where she will be looked after well and also explained about Old Age Homes in Delhi.
However it was informed by the daughter-in-law that the elder son is studying in Banaras and will
not allow her grandmother to stay any where so she cannot allow her to go and she will take care of
Sukhraji Devi.
Third Follow up
Sr. Executive Delhi Helpline talked to the caller Mr.Vikas (caller) about the same by the Delhi
Helpline.He thanked HelpAge Helpine for their efforts.

Complaints of Bilateral knee pain X 3yrs.
HISTORY: - Patient was apparently well when he had Knee pain with gradual onset since last 3 yrs.
- No history of DM, HT, IHD, TB.
- Not Allergic to any medications.
On Observations: - Patient was seen in high sitting position, well oriented to time and space.
On Examination: -
Swelling in bilateral knee joint.
Genu-varum deformity in both the knees.
Pain in the medial aspect of knees.
Pes cavus deformity in the bilateral foot.
