only mandatory fundraiser, requires each student to sell $125
worth of advertising space for the school’s publications (yearbook,
sports/music programs and school newspaper). If a student fails
to sell his/her quota of ad space, a $125 fee must be paid by Friday
September 21 st , 2012. After that date the fee will be increased to
$175. A packet containing a detailed description of the program
and contracts will be mailed to each student’s home prior to the
start of the school year.
TUITION ASSISTANCE: Each year, Chaminade Julienne
provides scholarships or tuition assistance grants to nearly 70% of
the student population. These awards are made possible because
of the generous support of the Dayton community and CJ
benefactors. Scholarships are provided to students with
demonstrated financial need based on a student's past and
expected contributions to the CJ community, while assistance
grants are provided based solely on demonstrated need.
To apply for a scholarship or tuition assistance grant, families
must complete a CJ tuition assistance application form and submit
all required information to Private School Aid Service (PSAS) by
the deadline date, along with the application fee. These forms are
normally available for pick up at the school or through the school's
website.
Penalties for Financial Deficiencies
At the end of each quarter students with delinquent tuition
accounts will not be able to attend classes until tuition has been
paid.
• Students may not participate in any co-curricular activity
if fees are not paid.
• Families must be up to date with tuition and fees before
registration fees for the following year will be accepted.
• Seniors with outstanding balances will not receive their
diploma. Transcripts and/or records will not be released until all
financial obligations are met.
The days not in class due to financial deficiencies are considered
unexcused absences and subject to CJ’s attendance policy.
