requirements. This includes passing all sections of the Ohio<br />
Graduation Test. <strong>Chaminade</strong> <strong>Julienne</strong> offers no fifth-year<br />
program. Any student unable to complete the requirements for a<br />
diploma including OGT will be unable to receive a CJ diploma.<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s are required to have a minimum of twenty-four<br />
credits, (twenty-five for the class of 2014 and beyond) for<br />
graduation. The student must accumulate credits as follows:<br />
Religion 1 credit for each year of attendance at CJ<br />
English 4 credits<br />
Mathematics 4 credits (only 3 credits for class of 2013)<br />
Physical Educ. ½ credit<br />
Health ½ credit<br />
Social Studies 3 credits (1 credit World History or World<br />
Cultures, 1 credit American Studies or US History,<br />
½ credit US Government, ½ credit elective)<br />
Science 3 credits (one life science, one physical<br />
science)<br />
Fine Arts 1 credit<br />
Foreign Lang. 2 credits (same language)<br />
Electives 3 credits<br />
OGT Remediation<br />
For students who have completed their junior year and have<br />
not passed all five portions of the OGT, an OGT remediation<br />
course is required. The course will run two weeks in June and<br />
will provide intensive instruction in one area of the OGT. At the<br />
end of the two weeks, the student will retake that portion of the<br />
OGT.<br />
Miami Valley Career Technology Center<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s attending the Miami Valley Career Technology<br />
Center with the desire to graduate from <strong>Chaminade</strong> <strong>Julienne</strong> must<br />
successfully complete one credit in religion for each year of<br />
attendance at MVCTC. <strong>Student</strong>s must obtain approval from the<br />
Principal regarding the method of completing this requirement.<br />
<strong>Student</strong>s must also pay 1/3 of the current CJ tuition if they wish to<br />
graduate from <strong>Chaminade</strong> <strong>Julienne</strong>.<br />
Parent-Teacher Conferences<br />
The dates and times of these events are included in the CJ<br />
<strong>School</strong> Calendar and will be published in the Parent Weekly<br />
emails.<br />
Parents are encouraged to contact teachers by telephone (461-<br />
3740) or email at school anytime during the school year. (See<br />
www.cjeagles.org for a complete listing of faculty/staff email<br />
