Supplementary Information Forms (SIF)
Some schools require additional information from parents and will require a Supplementary Information
Form (SIF) as well as the application form to be completed. Forms are obtainable from the school
and/or the local authority and should be returned to the school concerned.
Late applications
If we receive your application after the closing date, we will treat it as late and deal with your application
after those we received on time. If we receive your application late, you are less likely to be offered a
place at a school you have listed.
Moving house
If your family is in the process of moving house, you must apply by the closing date, giving your child’s
current address at the time of application in order for your application to be considered. If you can
produce a copy of the exchange of contracts, or rental agreement for at least 6 months, attach a copy to
the application form. We will be able to use your new address to process your application providing we
receive the above documents by 17 January 2012. You will also be able to change the schools you have
listed on your application form up to this date. We may ask at a later stage that you support this by
sending us further evidence, for example a utility bill.
If you cannot provide this evidence until after 17 January 2012, we will not be able to take your new
address into account during our initial allocations. This is because after 17 January 2012, we will not be
able to make any changes on our computer systems. However, we will be able to use your new address
for any waiting list application you make. If you move before we send out the allocation letters, please
send us evidence of your new address so that we can make sure that your allocation letter goes to the
right address.
Moving into Peterborough in Year 6
If your family moves into the Peterborough area from another area (outside Peterborough), before 17
January 2012, but after the closing date, your application will be considered as an on-time application
because it would not have been possible for you to apply on time. We will ask you to produce a copy of
the exchange of contracts, or rental agreement for at least 6 months, of your new home in Peterborough
by 17 January 2012. We may ask at a later stage that you support this by sending us further evidence,
for example a utility bill.
If you cannot provide evidence of your Peterborough address until after 17 January 2012, we will not be

Changing your application information
Online application
If you apply online, you can change the information online at any time until the closing date, but once
submitted and downloaded by us you would need to contact the Admissions Team in order to re-submit
the application. Once the closing date has passed and before 17 January 2012 you can only change
your preferences if there is genuine reason to do so, e.g. a change of address. A request to change a
preference will be considered by the local authority on an individual basis. Please contact the
