Oversubscription criteria:
1. Children in care (children in public care).
2. Children with professionally verified medical needs as certified by a doctor or psychologist.
3. Children living in the catchment area of Nene Park Academy.
4. Where the child has a brother or sister attending the school at the time of admission.
5. Children living nearest to the school as measured by a straight line. The distance is
measured using the council’s Geographic Information System (GIS) Ordnance Survey (OS)
seed point located at the child’s home address to the OS seed point for the school, using a
straight line.
6. In the event of the number of applications exceeding the number of places available, priority
will be given to those children living nearest to the school as measured by a straight line as
indicated above.
The school is legally bound to admit students with special educational needs where the school is named
on a statement.
