Oversubscription criteria:<br />

Priority will be given to children with a statement of special educational needs which names the <strong>College</strong>.<br />

This will be in addition to any specific arrangements to specialist provision.<br />

1. Children in care.<br />

2. Children living in the catchment area of the following primary schools: Barnack CE Primary;<br />

Castor Voluntary Controlled Primary; The Duke of Bedford Primary, Thorney; Eye Voluntary<br />

Controlled Primary; John Clare Primary, Helpston; Newborough Voluntary Controlled Primary;<br />

Northborough Primary; Peakirk cum Glinton CofE (VA) Primary; Wittering Primary.<br />

3. The attendance of a brother or sister who is on the college roll at the time of admission.<br />

4. Children living nearest the college as measured by the shortest straight line distance, from the centre<br />

of the home address to the college using the National Ordnance Survey seed points and the local<br />

authority’s computerised mapping system.<br />

In cases of equal merit, priority will be given to the child living nearest the college as measured by a<br />

straight line. Distance is measured using the council’s Geographic Information System (GIS) from the<br />

seed point located at the child’s home address to the seed point for the college, using a straight line.<br />
