Ram Shah<br />
After the death of Drabya Shah his son Purendra Shah<br />
became king. He ruled for thirty five years. When he died, his<br />
son Chhatra Pati Shah succeeded him. He hardly ruled for<br />
seven months when he died. As he died issueless, his brother<br />
Ram Shah ascended the throne of Gorkha in 1606 A. D.<br />
He was not only a great Conqueror but also an able<br />
administrator. He was a conscientious ruler, far-sighted and also<br />
a diplomat of the first order. He not only extended the Gorkha<br />
kingdom but also consolidated it.<br />
Ram Shah was very ambitious. He was not satisfied with<br />
the small principality which consisted of Liglig, Gorkha, Siran<br />
chok and Ajirgarh. He wanted to carve out a bigger Gorkha<br />
