Twenty-point underdogs at the outset of the contest, the
Vandals turned the tables with an upset 26-19 victory
over the Boston University Terriers in a contest staged
November 21 in Beantown. Idaho, which thus avenged
a 1940 60-0 loss to Boston College at Fenway Park.
started off fast and by half-time had a 20-6 edge. The
Terriers came back strong but could not muster up
enough counters to overtake the victorious Vandals.
Christian, with two tallies, paced the Idaho scorers.
Bob Mays and Jim Chadband contributed six points
each. The two conversions were completed by Christian.
