Every fall, elections are held for class officers,
while ASUI elections take place in the spring.
Somebody has to count the votes, and the job
goes to the election board whose members are
chosen by competitive examination. Daria Toffenetti
was chairman of this year's election board .

Weeks of campaigning for political candidates
are brought to a climax with the arrival of election
day, when Idaho students dig out their
activity cards and head for the polls to choose
their campus leaders.
