The engine room blower is an exhaust fan which will<br />
remove any exhaust fumes from the engine room, as well<br />
as, removing heated air.<br />
7.3.6 To operate the engine compartment blower:<br />
Power up the DC system as discussed in this section.<br />
Turn on the breaker located on battery switch panel.<br />
7.3.7 Stereo System (Option)<br />
The reset marked “Stereo”, on the backside of the 12 Volt<br />
DC Panel supplies power to the stereo on your boat. For<br />
more information about the controls of your stereo consult<br />
product manual in your owner’s packet.<br />

The maintenance of your DC system is ensuring that all<br />
connections are clean, tight, and covered with a corrosion<br />
inhibitor compound.<br />
The reset marked “VHF Radio”, on the backside of the<br />
12 Volt DC Panel supplies power to the radio on your<br />
boat. For more information about the controls of your<br />
radio consult product manual in your owner’s packet.<br />
7.3.9 Instruments<br />
The breaker marked “Instruments”, on the 12 Volt DC<br />
Panel supplies power to the instruments on your boat.<br />

7.3.10 CO Monitors<br />
For your protection, we have installed CO monitors<br />
aboard your boat. Be sure and check your Owner’s<br />
Packet for more info concerning your CO detectors. You<br />
can also review the dangers of CO in the Boating Safety<br />
Chapter of this manual.<br />
Do not spray waxes or cleaning agents on the monitor.<br />
7.3.11 Fire Extinguishing Systems (Option)<br />
In the engine room, there is a fire extinguishing bottle<br />
installed. This system is DC powered with a relay, or<br />
“module”, and the alarm at the helm station.<br />
When a fire is detected on your boat, the alarm will sound<br />
and set off the Halon bottle. This relay will shut down<br />
the engine, and blower. To reset the system, activate<br />
the override switch on the monitor at the helm. See Fig.<br />
