the Agreement between the Board and the HTEA. Actual 2011-2012 salaries will be determined upon
conclusion of negotiations between the Board of Education and the Hanover Township Education
Association.
Discussion: Mr. Pepper said Ms. Prout graduated from the College of St. Elizabeth with a 4.0 GPA, is
certified to teach pre-kindergarten and K-5 and has taught in the Chatham schools.

8. Appoint Caitlin Vassoler to the position of part time (.72 FTE) Kindergarten Teacher,
Mountview Road School, at a salary of BA Step 1, $37,143, effective 9/1/11 to 6/30/12, in accordance
with the Agreement between the Board and the HTEA. Actual 2011-2012 salaries will be determined
upon conclusion of negotiations between the Board of Education and the Hanover Township Education
Association. Continued employment will be subject to approval by the New Jersey Department of
Education, and the results of a criminal history check as required by applicable law.
Discussion: Mr. Pepper said Ms. Vassoler is a Penn State grad with a Bachelor’s in kindergarten and
elementary education, has taught abroad in Ireland and met the President after winning the
championship on the fencing team.

salary of BA Step 1, $51,588, effective 9/1/11 to 6/30/12, in accordance with the Agreement between
the Board and the HTEA. Actual 2011-2012 salaries will be determined upon conclusion of negotiations
between the Board of Education and the Hanover Township Education Association. Continued
employment will be subject to approval by the New Jersey Department of Education, and the results of a
criminal history check as required by applicable law.
