Eligibility: A maximum of $300 may be awarded to any Doctoral or Master’s student for travel, lodging, and/or registration fees for expenses incurred in presenting academic papers at a conference/meeting. Funding may be available to a limited number of Doctoral students for extraordinary expenses incurred in conducting dissertation research. Approval: Students seeking awards for presenting academic research papers must complete the pre-approval form and submit to the Assistant Dean by the following dates: April 1 st for the Summer semester; July 1 st for the Fall semester; and December 1 st for the Spring semester. In addition to the preapproval form, students seeking funding for dissertation research must submit a written explanation of the research/project justifying any expenses. 13
