To fit up and furnish any property for the purpose of lerting ihe same to visitors or guests whether
in single rooms, suites, chalets, caravans, movable structures, cottages or otherwise.
To buy, sell (both to persons residing on the company's premises and to non-residents), import,
produce, manufacture or otherwise deai in food and food products, meats, ,eroceries, fruits,
confectionery wine, spirit, beer and alcoholic beverages, tobacco, druggist supplies, beverages,
linen, furniture and furnishings and other articles required in the said businesses.
To estabiish and provide all kinds of facilities and attractions for customers and others, and in
particular, reading, writing and smoke rooms, lockers and safe deposits, telephones, telegraphs,
clubs, stores, shops and lavatories.
To appropriate any part or parts of the property of the company for the purpose of and to build
or let shops, offices and other places of business and to use or lease any part o[ the property of
the company not required for the purposes aforesaid for any purpose for which it may be
conveniently used or let.

To carry on all or any of the businesses of importers, exporters and general traders, and 1o buy,
sell, import, export, manipulate and prepare for market, and deal in goods and merchandise of all
descriptions, both wholesale and retail, and to transact every kind of agency business, and to
undertake the business of manufacturers' representatlves.

To carry on any other business whether manufacturing or otherwise which may seem to the company capable
of being conveniently carried on in connection with the above or calculated direcdy or indirectly to enhance
the value of or render profitable any of the company's properties or rights.
To apply for purchase or otherwise acquire any patents, brevets d'invention, licences, concessions, and the
like conferring an exclusive or non-exclusive information as to any invention which may seem to the
Company capable of being used for any of the purposes of the Company, or the acquisition of which may
seem calculated directly or indirectly to benefit the Company, and to use, exercise, develop or grant licences
in respect of or otherwise turn to account the property rights or information so acquired. To register in
Hong Kong or elsewhere any trade mark or design desired to be used to designate the products or
manufactures of the Company or. goods dealt in by the Company.
To acquire and undertake the whole or any part of the business properties and liabilities of any person
or company carrying on any business which the Company is authorised to carry on or possessed of property
suitable for the purposes of this Company.
To enter into partnership or enter into any anangement for sharing profits, union of interests, co-operation,
joint adventure, reciprocal concession, or otherwise, with any person or company carrying on, engaged in,

rayon, 'Terylene', nylon, linen, silk, wool, flax, hemp, jute and other fibres, filaments, fabrics, yarns

bleach, comb, finish, dye, print, fabricate, weave, make up, laminate, manipulate, waterproof and
subject to any kind of process cotton, rayon, 'Terylene', nylon, linen" silk, flax, hemp, jute, wool
and other fibrous, substances whatsoever to manufacture, produce and subject to any kind of
process, synthetic materials of any kind, dyestuffs, colouring and finishing materials, chemical
substances or products of any kind and all forms of cellulose and fibrous materials or compounds
and to convert them into such products as may from time to time be considered expedient to buy,
sell, let on hire, dispose of or deal in all or any of the aforesaid materials, substances and products
in any way which the Company may think fit or conducive to the attainment of any of the objects
of the Company and to supply power and carry on the business of warehousemen and packers-
