Apprenticeships for Young People aged 16-24<br />
If it is important for your success that your younger staff develop<br />
in their roles through a training package leading to nationally<br />
recognised qualifications, <strong>Kensington</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Chelsea</strong> <strong>College</strong> can<br />
help with Apprenticeship training. You may be eligible to receive<br />
funded training <strong>and</strong> support.<br />
Your employees will be visited regularly by an assessor who<br />
will observe them in the workplace <strong>and</strong> advise them on how<br />
to gather evidence for their NVQ portfolio. They will review<br />
progress with you <strong>and</strong> your employee <strong>and</strong> help them plan<br />
their learning.<br />
Your younger staff can join our Apprenticeship programme<br />
at Level 2 or 3, designed to ensure your employees meet the<br />
required industry st<strong>and</strong>ard for childcare, healthcare or business<br />
administration <strong>and</strong> provide them with suitable support in English<br />
<strong>and</strong> Maths. Apprenticeships you can choose from:<br />
• Children’s Care Learning & Development<br />
• Health & Social Care<br />
• Business Administration.<br />
As well as support at work for their NVQ Level 2 or 3,<br />
your younger employees will attend a regular workshop at<br />
<strong>Kensington</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Chelsea</strong> <strong>College</strong> to gain the knowledge needed<br />
for your industry, leading to a Technical Certificate. Keys Skills<br />
in ‘Communication’ <strong>and</strong> ‘Application of Number’ will help with<br />
literacy <strong>and</strong> numeracy.<br />
