We are delighted to once again offer this fabulous tour that spends three nights in the
eternal city of Rome before travelling to picturesque Sorrento on the Amalfi coast. This
tour has so much to offer including a fascinating city tour in Rome, a trip along the
Amalfi Coast, a optional day trip to the Isle of Capri, not forgetting beautiful Sorrento.

Mon 3rd: Letterkenny – Dublin – Rome
We travel to Dublin Airport for our early morning direct flight to Rome. On arrival we make
our way to our hotel for three nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
Tues 4th: Rome City Tour
We begin our week with a guided orientation tour of Rome. Our expert local guide will
highlight the city’s sights, such as the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Circus Maximus, the
King Victor Emmanuel Monument, St. Peter’s Basilica and more.
Wed 5th: Free Day in Rome
We take time out today to explore the wonders of Ancient, Christian, Baroque or Renaissance
Rome at our leisure.
Thur 6th: Rome – Pompeii - Sorrento
After breakfast we bid Rome ‘arrivederci’ and leave for Sorrento. En route we enjoy a visit
to the ancient town of Pompeii, which lies at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. Here we can
experience an incredible journey back to life in Roman times.
Fri 7th: Free Day in Sorrento or Optional Tour to the Isle of Capri
Today you have the choice of a relaxing day in Sorrento or an optional trip to the legendary
island of Capri, which was once home to Roman Emperor Tiberius. Admire bustling, colourful
scenes from the marina or enjoy breathtaking views from the scenic town of Anacapri.
Sat 8th: Amalfi Coast Tour
Today we enjoy a journey along the Amalfi Coast - one the most spectacular coastlines in
Europe, if not the world. We will also visit the pretty town of Amalfi, with time to shop for
ceramics, try some of the local cuisine, visit the famous cathedral, or stroll through the
charming cobbled streets just begging to be explored.
Sun 9th: Free Day in Sorrento
A day at leisure in Sorrento to do all our last minute shopping and sightseeing, or just bask
in the sun as we gaze over the Bay of Naples.
Mon 10th: Sorrento – Naples – Dublin - Letterkenny
We bid farewell to Sorrento and make the short journey to Naples airport for our return flight
to Dublin before travelling back to Donegal.
