22nd – 26th April 5 Day Break<br />
‘<strong>Mangan</strong> <strong>Tours</strong>’ and ‘Paul Claffey <strong>Tours</strong>’ have joined forces to bring you an all star<br />
line-up including Mike Denver, Declan Nearney, Dominic Kirwin, Nathan Carter, and<br />
Brendan Shine. This music break is hosted in Westport, one of Ireland’s most popular<br />
tourist towns and the ideal spot for a weekend ‘s craic!<br />
Sun 22nd: Letterkenny – Sligo - Westport<br />
We leave Letterkenny and enjoy a leisurely drive to the harbour town of Westport,<br />
stopping in Sligo en-route. This evening we can relax and settle into our 4 star hotel<br />
ideally located in the centre of the town. After dinner, we enjoy our first night’s show<br />
with our country stars.<br />
Mon 23rd: Day Trip to Achill<br />
Today we have a day tour along the northern shore of Clew Bay before crossing the<br />
causeway to Achill Island, the largest island off the Coast of Ireland. The island is<br />
dominated by two peaks, Slievemore and Croghaun, and is home to Kildavnet Castle,<br />
associated with Granuaile (Grace O’Malley) the famous “Pirate-Queen of the West”.<br />
We return to our hotel with time to relax, enjoy dinner, and another night of great live<br />
music.<br />
Tues 24th: Free Day in Westport<br />
A day at our leisure to explore this cheerful, lively town with it’s multi-coloured shop<br />
fronts and a variety of cafes, bars, and restaurants. Perhaps treat ourselves to a<br />
shopping spree or relax and revive ourselves in the hotel’s spa and wellness centre.<br />
Once more, this evening we are treated to an unforgettable night of the best of Irish<br />
country music, craic, and dancing.<br />
Wed 25th: Day Trip to Killary Harbour & Leenane<br />
Today we travel through Louisburg and along the Doogh Lough Valley before reaching<br />
the shores of Killary Harbour, Ireland’s only Fjord. We continue to the town of Leenane,<br />
the setting for the hit movie “The Field”, before returning to Westport and our hotel for<br />
the last night of the tour and more great live music.<br />
Thurs 26th: Westport – Sligo - Letterkenny<br />
After a morning at leisure, we leave Westport and return home, with tired feet but<br />
happy hearts!<br />
