Issue 2 2013 I DVLA Timed Auction of Personalised Registrations Welcome to the DVLA Timed Auction of Personalised Registrations Monday 17th June to Monday 1st July 2013 Welcome to DVLA’s second Timed Auction of 2013. We are proud to offer for sale 1,300 previously unissued vehicle registration numbers, many following direct requests from members of the public, with reserve prices from just £130. Bidding will open at 10am on Monday 17th June. Bidding will start closing on Monday 1st July 2013. If you have not bid before in one of our Timed Auctions, please visit the auctioneer’s website at www.dvlaauction.co.uk/timed and select the "How to Bid" Video from the menu on the left. You will find this very short video useful in explaining how the auction runs. I strongly recommend that you use the Internet to place your bid and that you bid early. The auction is run on the basis of "Maximum Bids" which means you could win your registration for just the Reserve Price if no one bids against you, no matter what the value of your Maximum Bid! Please note we also have "Sliding End Times". This means if someone outbids you in the final 30 minutes (or if you outbid them!), the End Time will slide back 30 minutes to give everyone a fair chance of winning the lot. So, my advice is to bid once and bid early. Set your Maximum Bid limit and let the auction system bid on your behalf.
