The Brecht Yearbooks are available without subscribing to the society. As an
example, the Brecht Yearbook 24 is edited by Marc Silberman, and was published
in April 1999. It can be purchased through:

The IBS website also contains information on productions, conferences, books
due out, reviews of books, news, exhibitions, recordings, a chronology of
Brecht’s life, a history of the Berliner Ensemble and four pages of links to other
websites (e.g. the Kurt Weill Foundation, the Lion Feuchtwanger Memorial
Library, etc.). The Brecht Centenary in 1998 saw an explosion of sites dedicated
to him.

The Kurt Weill Foundation website. Dedicated to one of Brecht’s most famous
collaborators, this site is a must-see. It is geared up for Weill’s centenary in 2000.

An exhibition website titled ‘Bertolt Brecht turns 100’ by the Feuchtwanger
Librarian at the University of Southern California.
As an American exhibition, it obviously celebrates Brecht’s time in the USA before
any other period in his life. Lion Feuchtwanger was another playwright with
whom Brecht collaborated (the 1942 production of The Visions of Simone
Machard). Feuchtwanger and Brecht were two of the many European artists who
sat out the 1939–45 war in America. A fine online exhibition.
