New shuttle buses
Don’t let parking keep you away from Ballwin Days. Air-conditioned shuttles make
attending the festival easy and comfortable. Also new this year – on Saturday only –
two additional shuttle bus locations.
Excitement awaits kids of all ages
Ballwin Days is happy to host local Boy
Scouts of America units and their hands-on
attractions.
The Scouts will be in the park all weekend
offering free activities as well as working to
earn community service badges. Their hard
work will assist the Ballwin Days Committee
in its continued efforts to recycle as much of
the trash generated by the festival as possible.
The Scouts will be stationed at a special
area near the lower ball field and Kids
Korner, where they will offer slack-lining,
a hypothermic challenge, squeeze box
caving challenges, pinewood derby races,
rain gutter regattas, fly tying, fishing and
more. Guests are encouraged to participate
in these free activities on Saturday, June 6
from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and on Sunday, June 7
from noon–5 p.m.
Additionally, many fun activities and
shows await little ones (and not so little ones)
at this year’s Ballwin Days Kids Korner.
On Saturday, Paul Gregor’s “A Magical
Musical Circus” will delight children of all
ages; Jeff Koziatek and his comedy juggling
act will amaze and entertain; and the tekno
bubbles® Bubble Bus will rock the audience
with music, bubbles and more.
On Sunday, the “Reptile Experience”
offers close-up views of fascinating creatures.
Fairgoers also will enjoy the Babaloo
sing-along show at the Gazebo Plaza. The
World Bird Sanctuary, presented by Missouri
American Water, will showcase an
impressive array of birds, and Nitro Joe
will conduct fast-paced, hands-on science
experiments that are sure to thrill.
On both days kids can make crafts provided
by St. Louis County Library and
Lowe’s Home Improvement of Ballwin
as well as have their pictures taken with
an assortment of hooved animals from
Castlewood Stables, including Cadillac, the
Clydesdale. Pet adoptions offered by Stray
Rescue also will be on hand.
