Piscataway, this full-service recreation
department offers classes, personal
training, fitness assessments,
aquatics programming, and outdoor
recreation activities for students,
faculty, and staff. The department
manages four recreation centers
and one freestanding fitness center.

Bike Rental Program
Rutgers community members on
the Rutgers–New Brunswick and
Rutgers–Newark campuses may
check out bicycles for only $10 per
month or $25 per semester. Online
registration using a NetID is required.
Faculty and staff who do not yet

Rutgers University Golf Course
The university maintains an 18-hole
golf course—rated 4.5 stars by Golf
Digest Magazine—in Piscataway. Reduced
greens fees are available for
full-time faculty, staff, and students.

Athletic Center
Employees may take advantage of
the recreation classes, exercise
equipment, an eight-lane swimming
pool, five tennis courts, four racquetball

Rocks, minerals, mummies, and
even dinosaurs—the Geology
Museum on the Rutgers’ campus in
New Brunswick is fascinating for
both children and adults. The
museum places a special emphasis
on the natural history of New Jersey.
