Vision
Asbury Park High School is a place people want to be because we are motivated
equipped, and supported in achieving more than we ever thought possible.
Mission
The mission of Asbury Park High School is to create an environment in which parents,
community members, teachers, and students can work collaboratively in providing an
education that will enable all students to become productive members and leaders in a
demanding, multi-cultural, and technological society.
Philosophy
The philosophy of Asbury Park High School is to create an environment where parents,
students, teachers and community members will work collaboratively to provide an
education that will enable all students to become productive members and leaders in a
demanding, multi-cultural and technological society.
Our "education family" will enthusiastically participate in the creation of a successful
learning experience that will provide opportunities for appropriate life functions leading
to educational, professional, and personal success.
In order to do so, we will have our highly qualified teachers present a curriculum
measured by a holistic grading policy that assures that our students will become lifelong
learners who are accountable for their actions. In doing so, the students will
acquire the knowledge and skills to successfully complete state and national
assessments and apply what they have learned as they pursue additional education to
be successful in their chosen careers.
The Asbury Park High School community will strive to develop an educational family of
confident, skilled and knowledgeable individuals who will find satisfaction in their
future roles and responsibilities, and become productive members of the society.
