Escape to St Luke’s this half term!! In the summer 2012, St Luke’s School in Tiptree embarked on an innovative school holiday programme called ‘ESCAPE’ , to meet the needs of children and parents in the school holidays. The club was a great success with plenty of children enjoying the activities and we will endeavour to continue this service to the community. We restructured our approach to holiday childcare and have made it more accessible for the community. We also have the funding ‘Awards For All’ which means lone parents, parents on a low income and young carers may qualify for a free place. ESCAPE offers basic childcare between the hours of 8am and 6pm, with food included, where a fun and appealing activity programme will be led by qualifi ed staff. In addition to the full day of childcare at £24 per day, we are able to be fl exible enough to offer half day sessions at £12per session as well as 2 hour activities slots in both morning and afternoon for £8 per session. Availability can vary so booking is advised. In today’s social and economic climate, the question of quality, affordable holiday childcare is raised. Here at St Luke’s ESCAPE holiday club, we aim to be the number one quality childcare provider in the local community and promise parents we will give them value for money and a great experience for their children. Our low and reasonable fees mean we are able to introduce activities to the children that will ensure their enjoyment will be our priority. All members of staff are qualifi ed and CRB checked. The next half term is October 29th - November 2nd and ESCAPE can offer families the following: Mobile zoo, Musical theatre, Golf, ‘Olymkids’, modern music and archery amongst others. We will also offer various creative workshops and activities such as, cooking, T-shirt painting and modelling. St Luke’s can also offer a breakfast club and the Twilight after school club for families who need extra help with childcare, again the rates are reasonable and healthy food is included. We offer a variety of toys, games and activities under supervision so your children can relax and enjoy a restful period before and after school.
