Editorial
A platinum Jubilee is a celebration held to mark an
anniversary. Among monarchies it usually refers to a
70th or 75th anniverasy.
70th Anniversary of Thiya Samaj Mumbai was a
memorial one. Great personalities & dignitaris were
presen in the function. The lauching of Thiya Samaj
website and inaugural of TS logo was the prime highlight
of the programme.
Thiya Samaj released its logo and also had it Trade Mark
registered. The logo can make a huge difference to our
community. The following 5 reasons explains so:
IMPRESSIONS: Impressions are key in several areas of
life. Think about how you wanted to make a great
impression to anyone who wants to meet you. In the
same way, we want our logo to represent our Samaj in
the best possible way. And we want our members to feel
proud of this emblem.
PROFESSIONALISM AND CREDIBILITY: An
organization without a logo doesn't look that professional.
Would you do business with a firm without a logo. How
would you know they are established and professional.
A well designed logo establishes the credibility of an
Organisation. Also a logo will make it look like your
Organisation has been around a long time and you know
that our Samaj is 70 Years old.
Trust and Memorability : A good logo helps to build
trust. Alongwith trust comes Memorability.
Communicate your Message and Theme
A good logo design can contain many understated
meanings and can help to communicate our message to
the Society. Our logo has TS Fusion Image. 'T' stands
for Tree. A Tree symbolizes Unity in Strength. We being
of south origin the 'T' means Coconut Tree, 'S'
symbolizes Swan. Swan is the vehicle of Goddess
Saraswati who blesses us in Education. 'Education for All'
is our motto too. Giving our value of Right to Education
is true essence of Thiya Samaj. Jointly it looks like 18
and Thiya's have 18 Kshetras according to our ancestral
records. The sum of 18 is 9, which is a lucky number
called as Money Bank. With the help of the logo we can
build an image and a brand that's bigger than any
individual identity.
Remember : The purpose of a logo is to create a brand
for an organization that's recognisble and consistent
across all over the regionss.
In additions to the above reasons, having a great logo
that you are happy with and proud of, will increase your
confidence not only in your organistion, but in you as a
member too. So if you don't already have a logo, start
thinking about developing one, along with a brandable
identity, right way. And if your happen to have an existing
logo, re-examine it. Are you still happy with it, or could
it use a make-over?
