ACTING FOR ADULTS II
Monologue and Scene Study Intensive
In this class, students who have been introduced
to the art of acting either by taking
Part 1 or who have had previous experience
will do more intensive script work. They
will continue the development of their skills
through games and exercises and apply
them to monologues and scenes which are
rehearsed and performed in class.
Spring classes begin May 6
Tuesdays, 7–9 pm
$100 for 6 weeks
$65 if taken after taking Acting for Adults I
THEATER PRODUCTION WORKSHOP
The Theatre Workshop Production is
an opportunity for amateur actors to
perform an evening of short one-act plays
especially selected for them and directed
by an established theatre director. The
Workshop spans eight weeks. There will be
two rehearsals a week for six weeks and
the play will be performed for a weekend.
This workshop begins February 7, 2008 and
concludes April 20, 2008. Please call the

PLAYWRITING WORKSHOP
This workshop explores the playwriting
process. Students are introduced to the
basics of character, action, setting, and
event for the stage.
Fall semester begins September 19
Spring semester begins January 30
Wednesdays, 7–9 pm; $160 for 10 sessions
INTRODUCTION TO DIRECTING
This class will introduce students to textual
analysis, production conceptualization, the
rehearsal process, staging, and blocking.
Traditional and non traditional directing
approaches will be explored.
Tuesdays, 7–9 pm; $175
PERFORMANCE POETRY FOR ADULTS
Working with professional performancebased
poets, students will create and
perform poetry pieces based on both
individual and group work. Opportunities
to perform at in-house events will happen
throughout the year.
