FEES<br />

The Abrons Arts Center reserves the right to<br />

discontinue the enrollment of any student who<br />

does not comply with its payment policies.<br />

Registration<br />

There is a (non-refundable) $25 registration<br />

fee for all students. This fee is charged per<br />

student or per immediate family (parents,<br />

children, siblings, grandparents, and supervising<br />

guardians) for the school year<br />

(September–June).<br />

Early Bird Registration Discount<br />

Students who register for the Fall Term<br />

between Tuesday 14 August and Tuesday<br />

28 August 2007 will receive a 10% discount<br />

off of group class tuition fees. Students<br />

who register for the Spring Term between<br />

Wednesday 2 January and Wednesday<br />

16 January 2008 will receive a 10% discount<br />

off of group class tuition fees.<br />

Late Registration<br />

A $25 late registration fee will be charged<br />

for (non-auditing) students who register<br />

after 21 September 2007 for Fall, 2 February<br />

2008 for Spring. Tuition will not be prorated.<br />

Required Deposit<br />

The required deposit for all classes is 50% of<br />

the total tuition plus the $25 registration fee.<br />

The balance is due before 1 December 2007<br />

for Fall, 27 April 2008 for Spring.<br />

Payment Plan<br />

Registrants who do not pay in full by the<br />

first day of class will be placed on a bi-weekly<br />

payment plan. For registrants on payment<br />

plans, the remaining balance must be paid<br />

in 5 installments. Bi-weekly payments for<br />

the Fall must be made by 6 October, 20<br />

October, 3 November, 17 November, and 1<br />

December 2007. Bi-weekly payments for<br />

the Spring must be made by 2 March, 16<br />

March, 30 March, 13 April, and 27 April 2008.<br />

Balances not paid in full by 1 December for<br />

the Fall or 27 April for the Spring will be<br />

charged a $25 late payment fee. Students<br />

will not be allowed to continue class if balances<br />

are not paid by required dates.<br />

Full Year Discount<br />

Students who register for the full year<br />

receive a $50 discount off of each group<br />

class (Musical Ensemble classes are exempt<br />

from this offer). The total year’s fees must<br />

be paid at the time of registration.<br />

Returned Checks<br />

All checks returned for insufficient funds will<br />

be subject to a $20 returned check fee.<br />

DROPS & REFUNDS<br />

All drops must be requested in writing using<br />

our Drop Request Form and must be submitted<br />

to the Registration Office in person.<br />

Before the start of classes<br />

Full payment (minus the registration fee) will<br />

be refunded when the Registration Office<br />

receives a completed Drop Request Form by<br />

11 September 2007 for the Fall or 22 January<br />

2008 for the Spring.<br />

After classes have begun<br />

A pro-rated refund will be processed when<br />

the Registration Office receives a completed<br />

Drop Request Form by 5 October 2007 for<br />

Fall or 16 February 2008 for Spring. There<br />

are no refunds or credits if the Drop Request<br />

form is received after the third scheduled<br />

class session. If a student drops a class after<br />

the above dates, the registrant remains liable<br />

for the entire semester fees. The balance<br />

and any applicable late payment fees will<br />

remain on your account until it is paid in full.<br />

Refund Method<br />

All refunds will be paid through a check<br />

issued by the <strong>Henry</strong> <strong>Street</strong> <strong>Settlement</strong>.<br />

The check will be issued in the name of<br />

the registrant and mailed to the address<br />

provided on the Registration form. Please<br />

allow three weeks for receipt of your refund.<br />

Class Cancellations<br />

Full refunds (tuition and registration fee)<br />

will be given if the Arts Center cancels a<br />

class for any reason. The Abrons Arts Center<br />

cannot be responsible for providing refunds<br />

or credits for classes missed as a result<br />
