REGISTRATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
of student illness, student emergencies,
acts of nature, or any other unforeseeable
circumstance beyond the Center’s control.
Make-Ups
Classes will only be rescheduled if a
class is cancelled due to instructor
absenteeism where a suitable substitute
instructor cannot be found. Make-ups for
the Fall semester will be scheduled the
week of 20–26 January 2008, make ups
for the Spring semester will be scheduled
during the week of 5–11 June 2007.
Tuition Assistance and Work-study
Limited tuition and work-study assistance
is available each semester for registered
students who would otherwise not be
able to afford to enroll. Applications are
available through the Registration Office.
The Registrant’s most recent federal income
tax return is required along with the application.
Students who fail to regularly attend
classes or withdraw from their class will be
ineligible to receive future tuition assistance.
Student ID
Every student will receive an ID card
upon registration. This card is
required for admittance and must
be presented, on demand to the
instructors, directors, building security
or other AAC personnel. For the
protection and security of everyone
at the Abrons Arts Center we ask
for the cooperation of all students
and parents.
Media Release
Unless the Abrons Arts Center is
given written notice, registrants,
upon registration, give consent
for the AAC to take photos,
audio, or video footage of classes,
lessons, and/or concerts without
advance notice, and to publish such
photos, audio, and video footage
royalty-free in its print, audio and
electronic promotional efforts,
including its website.
