PARISH COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
November 12, 2012
Opening Prayer: Deacon Geiser
Attendance: Msgr. Breier, Jim Baur, Stephanie Davis,
Anna Skidmore, Bob Ahrens, Kelly Harbaugh,
Angela Ceirpiot, Brad Guenther, Deacon Geiser, Diane
Bentz, Laura Gilstrap
Monthly Faith Topic: Msgr. Breier
The faith presentation was a reading from the Gospel
of Luke on the death of Jesus Christ. During the
month of November we are asked to remember family
and parish members who have passed away. Parish
council members shared experiences of the death
of someone close to them.
Business Meeting:
• The PTA Black and Gold Auction was a success.
The final net proceeds have yet to be determined.
• Laura Gilstrap reported the Ladies’ Club will
have movie night at the next meeting on November
15, 2012.
• The first quarter of the school year is completed.
The format for standardized testing was changed
for this school year.
• Trunk or Treat was a success. Due to the colder
weather some of the activities were moved to the
gym.
• Mouse races will be held on November 17, 2012.
The event is to raise funds for the eighth graders
to participate in the annual March for Life in
Washington DC.
• Nominations were made to fill the vacancies for
the parish council.
• Angela Cierpiot went to a pastoral assembly held
by the Archdiocese of St Louis. Discussions
were held regarding the needs of the parishes.
Pastor’s Report:
• Advent by Candlelight will be held on December
2, 2012. The speaker for the event is Deby Sansone
Schlapprizzi.
• Msgr. Breier suggested that the parish council
hold a dinner for the parishioners. No final decision
was made.

Mary Immaculate, our patroness, and in the
name of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
