Road graveling of 2.5 km road in Noor Zai villageThis small-scale infrastructure project will fund the rehabilitation and graveling of a 1.75- km longroad in Noorzai village, Baghlan-e-Jadid District. Noorzai village is one of the unsecure and underdeveloped village of baghlan-e-Jadid. During the several past years, weakness of government toprovide sufficient services and being in border with other unsecure villages has prompted hugeinstability and lack of attention to the people. Noorzai villages suffer from insecurity which iscontributed by poverty as a primary driver of instability. The project will improve local access toneighboring villages, markets, schools, health clinics, and government services.Road graveling of 2.5 km road in Noor Zai village20. Conflict Resolution Course in Kohna Qala-e-Payeen of Baghlan-e-Jadid240 participants attended the workshop in 8 groups; each group containing 30 participants hasundergone a 3 days training. The different sessions of the training program has covered a thoroughunderstanding of conflict resolution, promoting peace and security, human rights awareness,women rights, social justice, freedom of thoughts, drug trafficking etc. As the majority of theparticipants of this workshop were illiterate, the course subjects have conducted in simple andunderstandable methods.21
