Darqad district is one of the most insecuredistrict of Takhar province. By implementation ofthis projects peace and stability will be restored inthe area. On 20 October 2011, Opening ceremony for 2.05-Km road gravelling and construction of fourculverts was held in Alang village of Dashti Qala district, Takhar Province. The ceremony wasattended by GIRoA representatives, Alang CDC members, Head of DDA, religious scholars,community elders and CBSG representatives.Head of Alang CDC added the residents of Alangvillage have long suffered during the internalwar and they faced to the lack of proper road, byimplementation of Alang road gravelling projectthe people will access to district center andhealth services and this project is the top priorityof the community.
