Girl Scouts of the USA has updatedits programs to serve girls better and streamlined the troop age levels. Daisy Scouts will be Kindergartenand Grade 1, Brownie Scouts Grades 2 & 3, Junior Scouts Grades 4 & 5, Cadette Scouts Grades 6, 7, & 8,Senior Scouts Grades 9 & 10,Ambassador Scouts Grades 11 &12. Watch for future infor- mation about our registrationnight on Thursday, Septem-ber 4th, from 6:30pm to 8:00pmin the Convent.We have previously invitedgirls in Grade 1 to join as Brownies.To continue serving girlsin Grade 1, and to extend our programto girls in Kindergarten,we would like to begin a DaisyTroop. We need two adultswho are willing to attend freetraining provided by the Girl Scouts of <strong>Chicago</strong> and act as Troop Leader and Assistant Leader for approximatelytwo meetings each month and a few special events. All of our troop Leaders work together and ourneighborhood has an excellent system of support and resources.
