Mary Henderson (Stage Manager) graduated from The Hill School in Pottstown, PA this year after stage managing <strong>the</strong>ir production of Brigadoon and working as an audio technician <strong>for</strong> its productions of Brigadoon, Anything Goes, and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, among o<strong>the</strong>rs. She has also interned <strong>for</strong> Broadway’s Phantom of <strong>the</strong> Opera, Wicked, and Rock of Ages. She will be attending Franklin and Marshall College in <strong>the</strong> fall. Nathan Powell‘s (Sound Designer) professional career began as a sound engineer <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> United States Government in <strong>the</strong> early 1980’s. He was on <strong>the</strong> audio engineers <strong>for</strong> President Reagan and Vice President Bush’s 1984 Re-Election Tour. Following this tour, he became a staff audio engineer <strong>for</strong> Opryland Productions in Nashville, TN (home of <strong>the</strong> world famous Grand Ol’ Opry & TNN). During his 7-year tenure with Opryland Productions, Nathan’s skill in audio production developed to <strong>the</strong> level where he was responsible <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> audio engineering and mixing of some of <strong>the</strong> top entertainers in both <strong>the</strong> Country and Rock music fields. Additionally, he was contracted to co-design and mix a number of top Broadway musical productions. Jeff Bettencourt (Lighting Designer) Jeff is a resident lighting designer <strong>for</strong> Starlite Productions of Moorestown, New Jersey. He has been working with live <strong>the</strong>atre <strong>for</strong> over fifteen years and has designed lights <strong>for</strong> musicals, plays, fashion and talent shows, and bands all over Delaware, South Jersey, and Philadelphia. Jeff is pleased to be returning to NEMC <strong>for</strong> his second summer and looks <strong>for</strong>ward to <strong>the</strong> many more to come. 28
