The X-mastree is served by three separate winches.On the aft side of the cutter ladder, two side winches are fitted.The ladder winch shall be positioned on the main pontoon.All winches are hydraulically driven; the hydraulic power for the cutter and winchdrive is supplied by radial plunger type pumps.Remote control units are situated in an observation room to control the speed ofthe diesel engines for dredge pump and jet pump drive and the hydraulic unit.In one of the pontoons a small accommodation space is situated, including a/o acombined mess room / galley and a shower and toilet space.Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam B.V.Naval architects, Marine engineers, ConsultantsP.O.
