The GEL235’s multi-turn variant achieves 28 bit resolutionoverall on the basis of an additional mechanicalgearing with 12 bit resolution.Use of an entirely magnetic measuring principlemeans that this encoder is immune to ageing effectsand unaffected by condensation.
