SOPs for Postentry Quarantine InspectionSection-10 Reporting & Monitoring of PEQ inspection Page 1-3 of 3December 200710. Reporting & Monitoring:10.1. The concerned inspection authority/PQO (with PEQ responsibilities), at the end of PEQ inspectionwill submit a report in prescribed format (Annexure-10A) to the PQO at the designated portthrough which the plants/plant material and other regulated articles have been imported underintimation to Dte of PPQS within 7 days after final inspection. He will also forward a copy ofpostentry quarantine release and /or destruction certificates issued to the importer10.2.The Dte of PPQS (NPPO) will develop and install appropriate software and establishcommunication link with concerned inspection authority/PQO (with PEQ responsibility for on-linereporting of post entry quarantine inspection activities and closely monitor the activities ofinspection authorities to ensure that PEQ activities are effectively performed and the inspectionsand certifications timely carried out
