TIL TALKMHS ZoneTraining on Potain Tower CranesAt TIL, we always recognize the value of training foroptimizing human potential. As a part TIL’s recentdistributorship agreement with Potain (a part of ManitowocCrane Group) for the sales and service of Potain range ofTower Cranes in the E<strong>as</strong>tern and Northern region of India,TIL participated in a training program organized byManitowoc at their plant in Pune in June this year.The training w<strong>as</strong> conducted by Pr<strong>as</strong>hant Gujjar, RegionalSales Manager, Manitowoc Cranes - Potain India Pvt Ltdfor the Material Handling team with the objective of givinga comprehensive update on Tower Cranes. From TIL’sMHS Division the program w<strong>as</strong> attended by T. Ramesh,TIL officials during the training sessionDGM-Hyster and Allied Products and Abhinandan Mukherjeefrom Corporate Marketing, Sumit Dutta and Projjwal Ghorai from E<strong>as</strong>tern Region and Rajeev Kumar Singh and Ankit Singhfrom the Northern Region.The program w<strong>as</strong> well organized and the modules covered various topics explaining in great details the product and thecomplete range of Potain Tower Cranes, knowledge about understanding and addressing customer requirement, applicationand selection criteria of crane etc. The program also included a visit to the Potain manufacturing facility to understand theproduction process. At the end of the training program, site visits were arranged to understand more about the performanceparameters <strong>as</strong> witnessed under practical situations. Such kind of training programs would surely empower TIL to successfullymarket the Potain Tower Cranes in the E<strong>as</strong>tern and Northern region of India.Jens Koerting - Hyster, Europe visits TILJens Koerting, Sales & Marketing Director - Big Trucks - Hyster, Europe visited India in the month of June 2010 to strengthenthe relationship between HYSTER and TIL <strong>as</strong> well <strong>as</strong> to review the Indian market. During his stay in India, Jens Koertingalong with Joydev Bose, Advisor andT. Ramesh, DGM- Hyster and Allied Products visitedmajor fleet owners of material handling equipmentlike ReachStackers and large capacity ForkliftTrucks.
