Section 5.0 - ConclusionsThis Executive Summary presents the results of the Project ESA and identifies the specific actionsrequired to assure that the health, safety, social, and environmental program performances are in linewith international mining best practice.The ESIA has identified several potential environmental and social impacts for which the mitigationmeasures may be broadly categorized as reclamation of disturbed land to forest/wildlife habitat,protecting and enhancing biodiversity, protecting air quality, ensuring adequate water supplies, andeconomic diversification and sustainable community development. The ESAP has defined the specificactions that must occur to implement these mitigation measures and who is responsible for theirimplementation. It also defines specific monitoring programs aimed at documenting the implementationand adequacy of control systems and mitigation measures and the reporting that is required to assuretransparency.With the effective implementation of the mitigation measures and monitoring programs defined herein andwith periodic updates to the ESAP and selected component plans, GeoCam can prevent or minimize itsProject impacts.Executive Summary, Rev 05-1
