PREPARING THE SIDE PANELSStep 9Insert three dowels (A) into the holes in the topedge of the right side panel (5). You may need touse a light hammer to gently knock them fully intoposition.5AStep 10Insert two cam studs (C) into the small holes in thebottom of the right side panel.Insert two long cams (B) into the large holes in thetop of the side panel, ensuring that the arrows onthe cams are pointing towards the connecting holes.BCStep 11Insert six long counter sunk screws (D) through thesecond, forth and sixth holes in the drawer battens(7).Screw the long counter sunk screws into the pilotholes in the side panel and tighten using a crossheadscrewdriver.7D– 6 –
ATTACHING THE CARCASS RUNNERSStep 12Attach four carcass runners (E) to the two drawerbattens (7).When fitted the wheel on the carcass runners mustpoint towards the front of the dresser, away fromthe recesses in the back edge of the side panel.Align the holes in the drawer battens with the holesin the carcass runner. Screw in two euro screws (F)to secure each carcass runner. Tighten them using across-head screwdriver.Repeat steps 9-12 to prepare the left side panel (6).E7FScrew position for carcass runnersFIXING THE BASE TO THE RIGHT HAND SIDE PANELStep 13Slot the base (3) over the fittings at the bottom ofthe right side panel (5), and tighten the cams usinga flat-head screwdriver.Ensure that the bottom rail (4) is at the front of theright side panel and that the cams are on theunderside of the base. Note: The front leg istapered.345Step 14Carefully turn the right side panel and base over onits back so that the carcass faces up.Then slot the left hand side panel (6) onto the base.Tighten the cams using a flat-head screwdriver.ATTACHING OF THE LEFT HAND SIDE PANEL6– 7 –
