. .entitled to <strong>Board</strong> paid health, dental and vision insurances.A teacher who routinely works more than a twenty (20) hour week, but less thanthirty-seven and a half (37.5) hours a week shall be entitled to <strong>Board</strong> paid health,dental, and vision at a pro-rated proportional amount.Dental Insurance-The <strong>Board</strong> shall provide for each member <strong>of</strong> this bargainingunit an individual or family dental coverage plan.Vision Care-The <strong>Board</strong> shall provide for each member <strong>of</strong> this bargaining unit anindividual or family vision coverage plan.15.02 Life InsuranceAll certified staff members shall receive Group Life Insurance coverage in theamount <strong>of</strong> forty thousand ($40, 000) dollars.15.03 Liability InsuranceThe <strong>Board</strong> agrees to provide employee liability insurance for all certified staffmembers. The <strong>Board</strong> paid plan will provide coverage <strong>of</strong>:$100,000.00 each claim $1,000,000.00 aggregate15.04 Health Care Cost Study CommitteeThe Health Care Cost Study Committee shall consist <strong>of</strong> up·to the following: two(2) <strong>Board</strong> member, two (2) members appointed by the <strong>Board</strong> and three (3)members appointed by the NLFT. The Committee shall review the insurance planquarterly with the insurance consultant. . If the premium increases for the healthinsurance plan in effect at the time <strong>of</strong> the renewal will be five percent (5%) orless, and the committee does not recommend and change in plan or the partiesdo not mutually agree to a change in the health insurance plan, then the plan ineffect at the renewal period shall remain in place, and the <strong>Board</strong> will continue topay eighty percent (80%) <strong>of</strong> the health insurance premium, as provided inParagraph 15.01. If the cost <strong>of</strong> the health insurance plan in effect at that time <strong>of</strong>the renewal will more than five percent (5%), the Committee recommends nochange to the plan or no change is mutually agreed to, then the entire premiumincrease shall be shared equally between the <strong>Board</strong> and the teacher, e.g., if thepremium increase is seven percent (7%), which equates to an additional onehundred dollars per month for the monthly premium, in addition to the sumsalready being paid by the <strong>Board</strong> and the individual employee, the <strong>Board</strong> shall payfifty dollars ($50) <strong>of</strong> the increase and the employee shall pay fifty dollars ($50) <strong>of</strong>the increase.33
