A Tribute to Leo Greco - Camp Courageous

A big thank you to John, Jill, and Zach Parham for sponsoring a golf tournament for the camp
as part of their Open House. Once again a great turn out of super good folks.

At the evening banquet (L-R) John Van Chaldy
emceed the event, followed by Jill Parham,
who had John Parham Jr. on the phone, and
Jill and John's son Zach. John Parham Jr.
addressed the group from his hospital bed in
Cincinatti... it was a tear jerker. John had a
lung transplant and continues to go back for
check-ups. The Parhams are as good as they
get. Camp Courageous is fortunate they took
the camp under their wing.
J & P Cycle's Open House was a two-day
event attended by over 10,000! Camp
Courageous volunteers served water and
food...everything was a free will donation to
camp.

(R) Pat Burross came all the way from
Texas to be a part of this event. She is a
great salesperson when it comes to Camp
Courageous.
John and Jill Parham present a check
for $25,000 to the camp for an incredible
weekend. It was sure great to have John
back and healthy to present the check.

Thank you once again to the Transamerica
(formerly Aegon) for their out pouring of items
for the Pineapple Gala Auction. Each year
they put together exceptional baskets, that
are always the top money making baskets.
Along with the baskets, employees do
countless activities to raise awareness and

Transamerica (AEGON) has been a
long-time supporter of Camp Courageous.
The month of July had many
activities to benefit Camp Courageous.
Including the money collected, 513 rolls
of toilet paper, 212 rolls of paper towels,
and 83 boxes of tissue were collected.
