Sally Van Paemel started her<br />
own business 2 years ago.<br />
She recently chaired the<br />
London Y Women of<br />
Excellence Awards, held on<br />
May 3rd. There were 1100<br />
people in attendance <strong>and</strong><br />
over $100,000 was raised.<br />
The proceeds this year go<br />
to the London Y<br />
Community School Program<br />
- which provides<br />
programming that enhances<br />
literacy <strong>and</strong> social skills to<br />
youth <strong>and</strong> their parents in<br />
various London schools.<br />

married Dr. William Bishop<br />

Bonnie began a new<br />
position at the University<br />

an open house attended by<br />

<strong>Conestoga</strong> days. <strong>Conestoga</strong><br />
grads attending the open<br />
house were Mary Simpson<br />
(Social Services, '71), one of<br />
Maureen's bridesmaids, <strong>and</strong><br />
Janice Horvath (nee Heath,<br />
Social Services '70). Dave<br />
writes, “We still keep in<br />
touch with a number of our<br />
fellow grads on a semiregular<br />
basis, gathering at<br />
each other's homes for<br />
special occasions or meeting<br />
at events such as<br />
Oktoberfest.”<br />

commercial broker in a<br />
large firm in St. Catharines<br />
after being a 911 operator<br />
for a few years in both<br />
Chatham <strong>and</strong> Niagara. I<br />
hope everyone who was in<br />
my LASA program, along<br />
with anyone who lived in<br />
the Doon residence 96-98<br />
(especially my old<br />
roommate Jessica Paluch)<br />

She has been working as a<br />
Family Educator on an<br />
outpatient team<br />
specializing in early<br />
intervention for psychosis<br />
since completing her MHSc<br />
degree in 1990. Jane is<br />
presently a Ph.D. c<strong>and</strong>idate<br />
in the School of Graduate<br />
Studies at University of<br />
Alberta.<br />
