Which data do we have to pay attention to especially?Country code of BeneficiaryCountry code of beneficiary is available for you as per information of your partner. Thiscountry code results from legal status (resident) of your partner, so it accords with thecountry where premises of beneficiary take place only in case beneficiary is residentthere. Usually this is the typical case.Country code is a two digit code according to ISO standard (for example Germany: DE,Austria: AT), you can select it from the Combo Box. Please click button next to datafield.Specifying the correct country code of beneficiary will become important later when youwill select legal title of payment because country code of remitter (you) and thebeneficiary (your partner) together will determinate set of legal titles which can beselected.Account number of beneficiaryIt is recommended to use IBAN format account numbers within member-states ofEuropean Union. Therefore please ask your partner to submit their correct, IBAN formataccount number. When using non IBAN format account number the systems which processinternational payments can not process the payment order automatically (format of theaccount number does not meet their requirements), they may charge additional charges(NonSTP).We are obliged to debit your account with such extra expenses.You can find more detailed information about IBAN format account numbers at ourhomepage (www.budapestbank.hu) at Corporate services/FX számlavezetés/Informationon using international account numbers (IBAN).The data input interface that is available for you in case you selected IBAN format willcheck if the account number that you keyed in is formally correct (if it corresponds withthe standard of the given country).What to do in case you received an IBAN format but incorrect account number from yourpartner?• Inform your partner (ask for correction), if sending in of the payment order canwait• or select Non IBAN format on the screen, in this case the check function will beswitched off (but it can involve the risk of additional charges as mentionedbefore).Name and address of BeneficiaryThese are important data because of the following:• Regulation of law of certain countries with regard to prevention of moneylaundering demand them.• In case account number of beneficiary is not correct (e.g. your partner gavewrong information to you) in many cases your partner’s bank can make paymentaccording to these data only.Budapest InternetbankUser’s Manual24Budapest, November 2005. • The indicated account number should belong to the beneficiary given (the nameand the account number should be identical with each other).Identifier code of beneficiary’s bankUsually BIC (Bank Identifier Code) applied by SWIFT system is used as identifier code,which works basically like a postal code of the head office or certain branch of a bank ina certain country. Send your questions to our bank (Mailbox, New mail) and we shall help you.Beneficiary’s bank (name, address)These are important data, too, especially if the above mentioned bank identifier code isnot correct. The correct name/address data can help to specify the correct identifiercode.Correspondent of beneficiary’s bank (name, identifier code, address)In case data (name, identifier code, address) of the bank that keeps an account in thecurrency of the payment order for the beneficiary’s bank are available for you, pleaseindicate them (name, identifier code, address) and we shall make payment according tothese particulars. If this field remains empty, we shall use payment route known byBudapest Bank.Currency and amount of payment order Amount of payment order to be understood in currency of payment order.Usually payment orders indicate these two data, so if you remit EUR 1200 from yourHUF account, currency of payment order will be EUR, while the amount will be 1200.Currency of executionThere is reason for indicating this fact only if it differs from the (default) currency of thepayment order. For such a case, here is an example that shows the point:• Currency of payment order: HUF• Amount of payment order: 12.000• Currency of execution: EURThe payment will be made for EUR equivalent of HUF 12.000 counted at current rate.Individual exchange rateAn agreement of a special exchange rate can be concluded in cases described inConditions of Budapest Bank.
