At the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA),we have protected animals around the globe for more than 30 years.We use our collective skills and knowledge to move individuals,organisations and governments to transform animals’ lives. Our diversework includes ending the mass suffering of industrially farmed animals,preventing the pain of individual animals caught up in disasters,and making rabies-driven dog culls history by proving that a humaneresponse works best for animals and people.Working in more than 50 countries, we create positive change byexposing cruelty and pioneering sustainable solutions to animal suffering.We also act for animals at a global level, using our consultative status atthe United Nations to make sure our message is heard: that the lives ofanimals are inextricably linked to our own, and now more than ever is thetime to stop their suffering.Suggested citation: World Society for the Protection of Animals.(2013).
