Every year, children die from
being left unattended in a vehicle.
Sometimes this is because they
are forgotten by the caregiver
and other times they are simply
playing in the car. The purpose of
the system is to send a warning
signal if a child is detected
inside of a car, particularly in
locations which would cause
the car to reach extremely
high temperatures. Ideally, the
implementation of this system will
reduce the number of child and infant fatalities that occur within a vehicle.
