BYLAW, ARTICLE 16Awards, Benefits <strong>and</strong> ExpensesFor Enrolled Student-Athletes16.2 Complimentary Admissions <strong>and</strong> Ticket Benefits ...................................................................................................................... 2716.2 COMPLIMENTARY ADMISSIONS AND TICKET BENEFITS16.2.1 Permissible Procedures.16.2.1.1 Institutional Events in the Student-Athlete’s Sport.16.2.1.1.2 Exceptions – <strong>SEC</strong> Championships, NCAA Championships <strong>and</strong> Bowl Games.Complimentary admissions for an <strong>SEC</strong> Championship, NCAA Championship or Bowl Game shall beprovided only through a pass list for individuals designated by the student-athlete. <strong>SEC</strong> member institutionsmay provide six complimentary admissions to each individual listed as a member of the official travelingsquad for an <strong>SEC</strong> Championship, NCAA Championship or Bowl Game. No more than two admissionsmay be provided to non-traveling members of the squad. [Revised 5/30/03; effective August 1, 2003;Revised 6/4/2010; effective 8/1/2010]16.2.1.2 Regular Season Complimentary Admissions <strong>and</strong> Ticket Benefits: Men’s Basketball <strong>and</strong> Football.Complimentary admissions for regular season contests shall be provided only through a pass list for individualsdesignated by the student-athlete. “Hard tickets” shall not be issued. The institution shall be responsible for thisadministrative procedure, <strong>and</strong> the student-athlete’s eligibility shall be affected by involvement in action contrary tothe provisions of NCAA <strong>Bylaws</strong> 16.2.1 <strong>and</strong> 16.2.2 (i.e., receipt of more than the permissible four complimentaryadmissions or the sale or exchange of a complimentary admission for any item of value).
