Print-cartridge informationThe print cartridge is designed to simplify replacement of the major consumable parts. Theprint cartridge contains the printing mechanism and a supply of toner.At 5 percent page coverage, a standard print cartridge will print approximately 2,500 pages.As page coverage increases, yield decreases. These estimates are only approximate; usageconditions and print patterns can cause results to vary.Refilled print cartridgesWhile Hewlett-Packard does not prohibit the use of refilled print cartridges during the warrantyperiod or while the product is under a maintenance contract, it is not recommended for thefollowing reasons:●●●●Repairs resulting from the use of refilled cartridges are not covered under Hewlett-Packardwarranty or maintenance contracts.Hewlett-Packard has no controls or processes to ensure that a refilled cartridge functionsat the high level of reliability of a new HP LaserJet print cartridge. Aneasy-to-use and free take-back program is available in more than 30 countries/regions.Multilingual program information and instructions are included in every new HP LaserJet printcartridge and supplies package.HP Printing Supplies Returns and Recycling PrograminformationSince 1990, the HP Printing Supplies Returns and Recycling Program has collected millionsof used LaserJet print cartridges that otherwise might have been discarded in the world'slandfills. The HP LaserJet print cartridges and supplies are collected and bulk shipped to ourresource and recovery partners, who disassemble the cartridges.
