Dr. Ralph E. Bowman '45 is pastor
of the Wolcott and Mt. Gilboa U.M.
Churches. His wife, former Central
student, Deloris (Cloud) '48, is a nurse
at White Co. Hospital in Monticello,
IN. The couple lives in Wolcott, IN.
Glenn W. Catlin '45 is director of
Stronghold for the United Presbyterian
Church. He lives in Oregon, IL.
Ruth (Burrows) Hybarger '45 is a
teacher at Indianapolis Public School
#38. She lives in rural Carmel, IN.
George R. Spotts '45, a former IC
student living in rural Goshen, IN is
now vice-president of operations for
the Western Rubber Co. His wife,
Helen (Ruffner) is a '45 IC grad.
Lassie (McClure) Woodard '45 is now
employed by the Indianapolis School
board as a consultant for the public
schools in the elementary division. She
continues to reside in Indianapolis.
1946
Rev. Gerald D. Brown '46 is asso-
ciate secretary of the Iowa Council of
Churches. He is also treasurer of the
National Association of Council Broad-
casting Executives, and on the board
of directors of the Community Nutri-
tion Institute in Washington, D.C. He
and his family live in W. Des Moines,
IA.
Marjorie (Langford) Ginther '46
teaches biology at Warren Central H.S.
in the Indianapolis area. Her husband,
Paul '44, a former IC student, teaches
mathematics at Indianapolis Public
School #71. The couple lives in Indi-
anapolis. They have a daughter, Jen-
nifer.
Virginia Walker '46 teaches in the
M.S.D. of Perry Township near Indi-
anapolis. She and her husband, Ervin,
have two daughters and a son.
1947
Dr. John R. Rider '47 of Edwards-
ville, IL is a professor at Southern Illi-
nois U. His wife, Louise (Hanren) '51,
is a former IC student.
Joyce (McDaniels) Thurn '47 is a
registered nurse working at Botsford
General Hospital in Detroit, MI where
she lives.
Vera Van Buskirk '47 of Decatur, IN
is a teacher at the North Adam Com-
munity Schools.
Dr. Russell E. Vance, Jr. '47 is a
professor of history at Edinboro State
College in Pennsylvania. He lives in
Edinboro. His wife Elsa (Harkin) '45,
is a former IC student.

Hubert Bastin '48 is an elementary
school principal in Martinsville, IN
where he lives.
Don J. Bunge '48 is a teacher and
athletic director for the Bremen, IN
Public Schools. He and his wife,
Janeice (Shockley) '49, a former Cen-
tral student, live in Bremen.
James E. Cummings '48 of Terre
Haute, IN is dean of boys at a iunior
high school in Vigo Co. IN.

Velma E. Bailey '49 is an upper ele-
mentary school teacher for the Worth-
ington Jefferson Schools. She lives in
Worthington, IN.
Rev. Lewis D. Brown '49 is a coun-
selor at the Mesa Co. Valley School
District #51. He lives in Clifton Co.
His wife is former Central student Iris
(Lacey) '51.
In the fall of 1974 David Catlin '49
began his 26th year of teaching. He
teaches in District #205 at Galesburg,
IL, but he has retired from coaching
after 17 years of work in athletics.
He lives in Galesburg.
Lavonne (Huff) Francis '34 has re-
tired from her position as a 4th grade
t e ache r with the Noblesville, IN
Schools. She continues to live in
Noblesville.
Daniel F. Ruth, Jr. '49 now serves
as Sr. U. 1. Claims Examiner for the
State of New York. He lives in the
New York town of Bayport.
Joan M. Spero '49 is a mental health
specialist at Manteno State Hospital.
She lives in Bradely, IL.
Paul Whiteman '49 is an elementary
school principal for the Bartholomew
Co. IN School System. He lives in
Columbus, IN.

Rebecca (Sloan) Easley '50 is a teach-

Lawrence 1. George '50 is a photog-
rapher for Eli Lilly and Co. in Indi-
anapolis.
Dr. Loren Hoch of Akron, OH is an
associate professor of education at the
University of Akron. His wife, Emma
(Craig) is a former ICC student in the
class of 1952.
Philip J. Hughes '50 is senior quality
control chemist for the Colgate Pal-
molive Co. He lives in rural Cory-
don, IN.
Frank Kattau '50 is a teacher for the
Patchogue-Medford Public Schools. He
lives in Patchogue, NY.
Rev. Robert 1. Miller '50 is now the
minister at Williamsport U.M. Church
in Lafayette, IN where he and his wife,
Thelma (Washburn) '51, live.
David E. Stumph '50 is now division
manager for the Thomas & Skinner Co.,
Inc.

Former IC student Charles E. Lacy
'51 works as a supervisory computer
specialist for the U.S. Army Finance
and Accounting Center. He lives in
Indiana's capital city.
Eugene M. Westley '51 is the ad-
ministrator of Camp Findley of the
Western Pennsylvania Conference of
the U.M. Church. He and his family
live in rural Clymer, NY.
Joyce (Knight) Woller '51 is a teach-
er at Hazelwood Junior High School
in New Albany, IN. She lives in the
Indiana town of Clarksville.

Rev. Leland Brett '52 is pastor of
Christ's U.M. Church at Crawfordsville,
IN. His wife, Ura (Howard) '49, is in
her second year of teaching home eco-
nomics and health at North Vermillion
High School. The couple lives in Craw-
fordsville.
Gordon 1. Cole '52 is a teacher at
the Paul Harding High School. He lives
in Fort Wayne, IN.
The Rev. Forrest 1. Farris '52, rector
of St. Margaret's Church in Annapolis,
Maryland is a doctoral candidate at the
San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Robert E. Newnum '52 is a psy-
chometrist for the Fort Wayne, IN Com-
munity Schools. He lives in Fort Wayne.
Wayne S. Shipely '52 is rector of St.
Paul's Episcopal Church in Carlinville,
