THE VENETO, ITALY<br />
The estate of Trabucchi has a total area of about 27 hectares, divided into 21<br />
hectares of vineyard and 6 hectares of olive groves, made all the prettier by the<br />
presence of 400 cypress trees, horse chestnut trees and rose bushes.<br />
Trabucchi is very well known for the production of wines of magnificent structure,<br />
richness and character. Their Valpolicella wines are ruby-red in appearance,<br />
with intense fragrances of fresh red fruit, blackcurrants and blackberries,<br />
and sumptuous, silky smooth flavours. The Amarone is quality of the highest<br />
order—rich, velvety and intensely fruity. Trabucchi wines are found in selected<br />

The land on which Anna Spinato’s grapes are grown has been used for that same<br />
purpose since the 12th century. Wine was first produced there, on the banks of<br />
the Piave River, by the monks of the Sant’ Andrea Abbey. Even the Spinato logo tells<br />
of the family’s “passion and love for our culture and the tradition of winemaking.”<br />
Today, the wines reflect all the elegance and unpretentious sophistication that Anna<br />
Spinato herself is so well known for. From its most famous to its less well known<br />
yet no less extraordinary bottlings, Anna Spinato wines have been awarded medals<br />
at such events as Vinitaly, the Japan Wine Challenge, and MIWine of Milan. Indeed,<br />
the popularity of Anna Spinato’s wines is such that Spinato corks are embedded<br />
