If you alreadyhave mounting brackets installed, this requiresremoving the bolts (Item 2) for the mountingbrackets, moving the brackets to the requiredlocation and re-installing the bolts (Figure 1).Torque to 9 lbs-ft.End of bedFigure 1ABCDo not use.Move as far as possibleto the middle of the bedusing mounting holes Aand B or B and C.

Joerns ® Assist DeviceF025 Model2.3.4.Place the bushings (Item 3) in the large mountingholes (Figure 2).Place bolts (Item 2) along with 5/16" washers(Item 6) through holes in assist handle (Item 1)(Figure 3).Put bolts through the bushings (Item 3). Place3/8" washer (Item 5) over the bolt (Item 2) andthread nut (Item 4) on the bolt (Item 2) and torqueto 17 lbs-ft. Refer to Figures 3 and 4.Figure 2Figure 3 Figure 4

Damage caused byuse in unsuitable environmental conditions or failureto maintain the product in accordance with user andservice instructions is not covered. Any alteration,modification or repair unless performed by orauthorized in writing by Joerns Healthcare will voidthis warranty.ServiceMost service requests can be handled by the facilityMaintenance Department with assistance from theJoerns Healthcare Product Service Department.Most parts requested can be shipped next day air atthe customer’s expense.Should a technician be required, one will beprovided by Joerns Healthcare, at our discretion.Only the Joerns Healthcare Product ServiceDepartment can dispatch authorized technicians.This warranty is extended to the original purchaserof the equipment.The product contains various parts that wear fromnormal use. These parts, such as plastic bushings,are not covered under the 12-month warranty, butare covered for 90 days after purchase of product.Joerns Healthcare’s obligation under this warranty islimited to supplying replacement parts, servicing orreplacing, as its option, any product which is foundby Joerns Healthcare to be defective.Warranty replacement parts are covered by theterms of this warranty until the product’s originalwarranty period expires.When requested by Joerns Healthcare, partsmust be returned for inspection at the customer’sexpense.
