At a 900 MW wind power level, the curtailment is app. 1 percent;while the curtailment is around 15 percent curtailment with 1800 MW windpower capacity in Estonia.4.6 Curtailment in the Baltic StatesBesides the curtailment of wind power production in Estonia, the curtailmentin the Baltic States as a whole has been analysed. In the scenarios for 2013, without Estlink 2, the level of curtailment in Estoniaand the Baltic States as a whole are similar. This situation is changed in 2016with the introduction of Estlink 2, which results in decreased curtailment inEstonia and a larger difference between the curtailment level in Estonia andthe Baltic States as a whole.A symmetric development of wind power has been assumed for all three Balticcountries in the scenarios, i.e. the 900 MW level means 900 MW in Estonia,900 MW in Latvia, and 900 MW in Lithuania. Similar for the 1800 MW level:1800 MW in each of the three countries.27 | Wind Power in Estonia, 13-05-2010
