5. Customer's Installation Requirements5.1 GeneralTwo copies of single line drawings of customer's electrical installation must be submitted to Power<strong>Supply</strong> Ltd (PSL) <strong>for</strong> clearance <strong>for</strong> approved loads above 45 kVA. All drawings submitted are to beaccompanied with a covering letter quoting PSL's <strong>Application</strong> Number.5.2 Single-line Drawings5.2.1The electrical installation single-line drawings shall carry a title block showing the description andlocation of the project, name and address of the developer/owner and be endorsed by the licensedelectrical worker responsible <strong>for</strong> the design, installation and supervision of the customer's installation.5.2.2The requirements to be indicated on the customer's single-line drawings are listed in Appendix 15. Acompleted checklist as shown in Appendix 16 (Form CS/14) shall be submitted together with thesingle-line drawings.5.2.3It is the responsibility of the licensed electrical worker to ensure that the whole installation iscompatible with Grid's system and complies fully with all relevant regulations, the Singapore StandardCP5 and other regulatory requirements.5.3 Short-Time Withstand Current Ratings Of Switchgear5.3.1For electrical installations taking electricity supply directly from Grid's network, customer's mainsupply incoming switchgear shall comply with the following short-time withstand current ratings:(i) For supply at 66kV - 40 kA <strong>for</strong> 3 sec(ii) For supply at 22kV - 25 kA <strong>for</strong> 3 sec(iii) For supply at 6.6kV - 20 kA <strong>for</strong> 3 sec(iv) For supply at low voltageSingle phase 230V1. 6kA <strong>for</strong> supply capacity up to 15 kVA.2. 9kA <strong>for</strong> supply capacity more than 15 kVA and up to 23 kVA.Three phase 400V1. 9kA <strong>for</strong> supply capacity up to 75 kVA.2. 25kA, 3 sec <strong>for</strong> supply capacity more than 75 kVA and up to 180 kVA.3. 36kA, 3 sec <strong>for</strong> supply capacity more than 180 kVA.(Note: The 3-second duration not applicable to switchgear incorporating direct acting trippingdevices).5.3.2For electrical installations taking electricity supply from landlord's or management corporation'selectrical installations, the licensed electrical worker in-charge shall ensure that customer's mainsupply incoming switchgear is capable of withstanding the prospective short circuit current at theconnection point.
